Moldova Mission Network’s Family Ministry
The Marriage Course
The Marriage Ministry in Moldova was started in 2008 by National Presbyterian Church (Washington, DC) in response to Moldovan requests for help in strengthening marriages.
Following the guidance of Alpha’s headquarters in London, England, the ministry was begun using the infrastructure of a single denomination in Moldova—in this case Baptists—but the course is open to people of any denomination, as well as non-Christians.
From 2008-2022, approximately 700 couples have completed the course. Testimonies from the experience have been uniformly positive, such as “Thank you very much for The Marriage Course! This is a big blessing for our church” and “Thank you for this practical training. For my family, this is a reminder and a wonderful opportunity to examine our own relationships.”
