In 2021, Save the Orphans expanded the number of orphans and Moldovan children who received our presentations on the importance of education, building
self-esteem and the dangers of human trafficking. These vital messages were delivered through our sponsorship and participation in seven youth camps in the poorest regions of Moldova…

As of December 2020, slowly more orphans are being assimilated into transitional homes. During the summer, Save the Orphan’s Local Director, Diana Todica, and volunteers were invited to visit Chisinau’s largest orphanage. They conducted our Christ-centered programs focusing on building a relationship with Jesus Christ. self-esteem, academic and vocational goals….

In summer 2020, Save the Orphans representatives in Moldova carried on with their regular outreach activities, though interactions with orphanage residents and families were limited because of Covid restrictions. Save the Orphans team member Diana Todica and her helpers visited orphans in Chisinau, Ghiduleni, Roscana, and other towns, providing Christ-centered programs and delivering bags of food staples. Save the Orphans recounted these activities in its 2020 newsletter.

During 2019, in May, STO joined with our Moldovan Director Diana Todica and student volunteers from Divitia Gratiae University to deliver our message of the importance of education, empowerment, and antitrafficking awareness to the orphans in orphanages and transitional homes in Chisinau and surrounding villages….

In May 2018, Sylvia visited Moldova and was able to sponsor STO programs for orphan care over a period of 10 days. The STO team visit orphanages assisted by students from University Divitia Gratiae who helped with singing and other program aspects….
